Velvet Revolver map North American dates

Velvet Revolver are gearing up for a jaunt which will take them across the US and Canada with fellow rockers Alice In Chains.

The stint will support the release of their second album 'Libertad', scheduled for release on July 3. The album was produced by Brendan O'Brien, who recently worked with The Bravery on 'The Sun And The Moon'.

A limited number of tickets have been made available for the V festival, despite the festival being declared as sold out previously.

The tickets, for both the festival's Staffordshire and Chelmsford sites, are available now from Vfestival.com.

The festival takes place next month on August 18 and 19. Bands set to appear include The Killers, Snow Patrol[/]a, [a]Kasabian, Foo Fighters and The Kooks.
